Single use Plastic Bans are Coming.
Some states will introduce restrictions on single-use plastic items as early as March this year 2021, some of these items include Plastic Cutlery, straws, and Coffee cup lids with plastic bag bans already imposed in much of the country, this is the next step for a Plastic free Australia.
Ban proposals and legislation are managed by each independent state and territory, differing in start dates and items banned - see map below.
