Making your own Body Scrub and other DIY’s beauty and cleaning products can be very rewarding. It also allows you to cut out all the toxins and simplify what you are putting on your body. Centaur Packaging makes it really easy and affordable to do because they have everything you need in the one place. From raw ingredients to roller bottles, spray bottles and glass jars.

For this recipe I got the Himalayan pink salt and pomegranate powder from Centaur Packaging. I used Young Living essential oils and recommend that you only apply the highest quality essential oils to your skin and do your own research on the brand.

HIMALAYAN PINK SALT

Pink salt has many benefits for the skin. It can help to exfoliate your skin, improve circulation and increase hydration.

ORGANIC COCONUT OIL

Coconut Oil has healing properties. Also moisturising for the skin although you should only use it in products for your body and not your face.

POMEGRANATE POWDER

Pomegranate powder can help to naturally brighten the skin, provides the skin with antioxidants and moisturisers and softens the skin.

YLANG YLANG

Ylang Ylang Essential oil is especially good for dry or mature skin. It can help moisturise and revitalize the skin.

LAVENDER

Lavender Essential Oil helps to soothe and nourish and is calming for all skin types.
GERANIUM

Geranium Essential Oil can help to smooth and tone the skin. Good for skin that is oily or dry.

Ingredients:

1 cup Himalayan Pink Salt Fine

½ cup Pomegranate Powder

½ cup Organic Coconut Oil

5 Drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

5 Drops Geranium Essential Oil

5 Drops Lavender Essential Oil

Method: Combine pink salt and pomegranate powder. Add coconut oil (in solid form) and add essential oils. Mix until well combined and store in an airtight container or one of Centaur packagings Glass Jars. Use in shower to exfoliate and moisturise.
