Flavour Infused Coconut Oil - here is a recipe to keep in your pantry
Rosemary and Orange Infused Liquid Coconut Oil
I like to have a bottle of Rosemary infused oil in my pantry. It's a great ingredient for a lot of my culinary choices. This oil works well on roasting chicken, legs of lamb and best of all, Potatoes.
This oil can be easily made at home in just a few minutes. So I don’t need to spend a fortune at a fancy olive oil shop.
A sprig of Rosemary and a slice of dehydrated orange not only adds the flavour but makes it look pretty.
Directions:
Cut a piece of Fresh Rosemary from your garden. Rinse well and leave to dry completely. You can always bruise the sprigs slightly before putting them into your oil bottle. I have some dehydrated orange slices so I decided to add this also for a different flavour combination and it really works well.
Liquid coconut oil is a source of good healthy fats and is Keto, Vegan and Paleo friendly.
For those of you that like to use Essential oils in your cooking I have added 7 drops of Young living's Rosemary and 7 drops of Orange essential oil. Both these oils are part of the Culinary Range of oils by Young Living
