I recently had a flare up of something itchy under my wedding ring, everytime it happens I never know where it comes from or how it starts. It's super itchy, and red and because it's under my wedding ring, it was extremely hard to get to and itch that itch. 😠

I always applied sudocrem to my finger to just stop the itch.

But this time I thought I wanted to try something different and try to kill whatever was causing the itch to occur.

I was given a bottle of Centaur Packaging’s Colloidal Silver Hand Sanitizer to spray on it. It immediately stopped the itch. I sprayed my wedding ring with it and all over my finger and within days the itch was gone and the redness had gone.

So I thought what else can it be used for and I discovered the following:

Fungal skin infections: It may be applied to fungal infections like ringworm or jock itch, with the belief that it helps inhibit fungal growth. Perhaps that was causing my itch.💡

Diaper rash: Some parents use colloidal silver on diaper rashes to relieve irritation and prevent infection.

Cold sores: It is sometimes applied to cold sores (oral herpes) to help reduce the size and discomfort of the lesions.

Scar treatment: Some users apply colloidal silver to scars to help reduce their appearance over time.

Sunburn relief: It’s occasionally used as a soothing agent for sunburn, with claims that it helps reduce pain and inflammation. 😎

Cuts and scrapes: Applied to minor cuts and scrapes, colloidal silver is thought to help disinfect the area and speed up healing.

Insect bites and stings: Some people use it to reduce itching, swelling, and potential infection from insect bites or stings. 🪰

Tattoo aftercare: Some use colloidal silver to support healing after getting a tattoo, believing it reduces the risk of infection and inflammation.

Antiseptic for household use: Besides personal health, it's also promoted for cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, acting as a natural household cleaner.

Pet care: Some people use it for their pets, applying it to wounds or using it internally for infection prevention.

Its ability to act as a natural disinfectant makes it appealing for those seeking chemical-free alternatives. However, its benefits are often based on anecdotal evidence, so it's important to use it responsibly and consult professionals when needed.

For any topical application, it’s essential to test a small area of skin first to ensure no allergic reaction occurs.

Please note that the uses of colloidal silver are based on traditional and anecdotal reports. We recommend consulting with a healthcare professional for guidance, as individual results may vary.
